Members of the Communications Workers of America held a rally Sunday against the sale of Verizon's wire line business in West Virginia and 13 other states to Frontier Communications, citing concerns that Frontier doesn't have the finances to properly maintain and operate the network. Members chanting "no deal" filled the lobby of the Culture Center.

Verizon’s service is lousy because that’s the way Verizon wants it. They want everyone to support the sale because they want better service. What will happen in reality is that Frontier will be in debt up to the top of the telephone poles and will start out cutting service personnel to stay afloat. Better service with Frontier? Dream on…

While the CWA-AFL-CIO workers from VERIZON were loafing in Charleston and blowing in the wind, and talking to themselves, hundreds, if not thousands of rural customers of Verizon are without phone service, as the bums that work for Verizon, won't do repair work in the cold and snow.

When one calls Verizon, and gets thru the computer generated answers, they get FILTHY LIES about when their phone service will be returned.

Many rural customers have gone 20 days or more without service, while the VERIZON workers tell more lies.

The Public Service Commission should approve the sale of Verizon so rural people can have phone service.

Is not these Verizon union employees protesting the sale of Verizon to Frontier saying ?

Can You Hear Me Now ? Can You Hear Me Now ? Can You Hear Me Now !

That hear me now is a little to late and it is falling on deaf ears.
