Lawyers donate to local charity

The law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl has made a $100,000 contribution to nine Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliates in Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

The Cincinnati-based firm has offices in Charleston, Morgantown and Wheeling.

The gift will help reach at-risk children in the region, said Darrell Buttrick, executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central West Virginia.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the largest youth mentoring organization in the United States. The organization's mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-on-one relationships with mentors.
