MORGANTOWN -- Storm Stanley, a 6-foot-10 center from Toledo, Ohio, who committed to West Virginia's 2010 men's basketball recruiting class Tuesday, will play at the Summer Jam Fest in Morgantown next week after all.
Stanley, who normally plays his AAU ball for the Ohio Basketball Club, said earlier this week he would accompany the OBC to a tournament in Orlando.
However, Stanley and fellow OBC teammate and 2010 WVU committed guard Noah Cottrill, of Poca, will play for the West Virginia Rush.
"He will, in fact, be playing with our (17-under) West Virginia Rush team at the Morgantown Jamfest, along with Noah Cottrill and many other premier athletes," Rush President Bruce Loman said.
The Jam Fest is Monday-Wednesday in Morgantown and Fairmont. A schedule is available online at hoopgroup.com.
