ST. ALBANS, W.Va. -- Police arrested a Charleston woman accused of biting an officer while he was trying to restrain her.
The woman was identified as Tina Maria Tetso, 32.
Kanawha County deputies responded to a disturbance at a home on Morgan Street near St. Albans Tuesday evening. Deputies found two "extremely" intoxicated women tearing up the home, according to a news release from Lt. Bryan Stover.
Deputies say both women were taken into custody. The other woman's name has not been released. Cpl. Thaxton had custody of Tetso and put her in the backseat of his cruiser.
Tetso began kicking the cage divider that separates the back seat from the front and tried to kick the rear window, deputies say.
Tetso leaned over and bit Thaxton on the elbow while he was trying to restrain her, according to Lt. Stover's statement. Tetso also tried numerous times to spit on Thaxton, Stover said.
Deputies say Tetso continued to be disruptive in the cruiser and deputies had to use pepper spray to subdue her.
Tetso was taken to South Central Regional Jail to await arraignment and she has been charged with obstruction, battery on a police officer and disorderly conduct.

There have been studies about Pit Bulls biting people, and often laws to correct the problem.
It may be time to pass laws about women biting men, and a felony to bite a Police Officer-----smile-
