WINFIELD -- When Winfield native Derek Keeling makes his Broadway debut, lots of local fans want to be there to see him on stage.

Keeling was one of the finalists on the NBC reality series "Grease: You're the One that I want," and now will star as Danny Zuko, the lead male role on "Grease" on Broadway. His debut is July 22.

The Winfield High School General Admission Show Choir boosters are sponsoring a "Greased Lightning" bus trip to New York. Keeling performed in the show choir during his days at Winfield High.

Organizers say it's an up-and-back trip with no hotel stay. Tickets are $190.

Participants will have time to shop and dine in the New York before the musical. After the performance, Derek Keeling along with other cast members are expected to be available for a meet and greet.
